How GetGymPOS works, as a five-exercise programme
GetGymPOS is self-serve: you sign up online, add your gym location and staff, build your membership packages, add retail products, and start selling, in about 45 minutes. Your online store is generated from the products you add, with nothing else to set up.

| A2 |  Add your location, desk and staff | 1 × 8 min | Add the gym as a business location, name the front-desk register, set receipt details and invite front-desk staff and trainers with their own roles. Each trainer can be a commission agent with their own percentage. Front-desk logins can be limited to selling and check-in. | |

Warm-up
What to have ready before exercise A1
Ten minutes of gathering saves an hour of typing. Spreadsheets are fine; so are photos of a paper list (we type those for you on the free migration).
Your price list
Every membership, pack and drop-in with its price and duration.
Your product list
A spreadsheet of retail items: name, barcode (if any), cost, price, stock.
Your member list
A CSV export from your old system, or a spreadsheet: name, phone, package, end date.
Your staff list
Who works the desk, who coaches, and each trainer's commission rate.
After you go live
Day 1
Check in the morning crowd, ring up shakes, see the day's sales report at close.
Week 1
Import the rest of your members, print member cards, set trainer commission rates.
Month 1
Run your first renewals on recurring invoices; pay trainers from the commission report.

Setup questions
How do I sign up for GetGymPOS?
Click "Start free trial", enter your gym name, country, currency and time zone, and create the owner login. No card and no install. The 21-day trial starts immediately.
How long does it take to go live?
About 45 minutes for one gym with a short product list. Importing thousands of members or products takes longer, and we do that import for free.
Do I need to install anything?
No. GetGymPOS is hosted; you use it in a browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
When is my online store ready?
As soon as you add products. The store is generated from your catalogue, so the first product you add is the first product in the store.
Can I get help with setup?
Yes. Book a free setup call, use the help center, or send us your spreadsheets and we import them.
Can I run my old system alongside during the switch?
Yes. Many gyms run both for one billing cycle, then switch fully at the next renewal date. See switching.
What happens when the trial ends?
Choose a plan and add payment to keep going. If you don't, the account is paused, not deleted straight away, so you can come back.
Can I add a second location later?
Yes. Move to Multi-Club and add the location; members and products are shared.
