Desktop gym software dies with the PC and loses data in power cuts. GetGymPOS is hosted with daily backups, so a laptop, tablet or even a phone with mobile data keeps the desk running when the power goes. A UPS on the router plus a phone hotspot is enough for most gyms.
Most members pay monthly fees in cash, JazzCash or Easypaisa. Add these as custom payment methods so every payment is recorded against the member and shows in the day's cash-up. GetGymPOS records wallet payments; it is not itself a payment provider.
The interface can run in Urdu, right to left, and receipts can print in Urdu. Owners who prefer English reports can keep them in English.
Provincial sales tax on services and federal sales tax on goods apply differently by province and item. Set the rates your tax adviser confirms on each product; the tax report totals them. Integration with FBR's POS invoicing scheme is not built in; ask on a demo if you are a Tier-1 retailer. Reference: Federal Board of Revenue.
